Vienna, Austria — 03.02.26 — Dymaxa (formerly Aerodymax), an Austrian mobility-tech startup, today announced it has secured Seed Financing from Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws.at). aws is Austria’s federal promotional bank and is 100% owned by the Republic of Austria.
The financing will be used to develop Dymaxa’s advanced Trailer Underbody System — a new integrated aerodynamic and underbody solution designed to reduce energy consumption and emissions for conventional trucks and increase the driving range of electric trucks. Leading European trailer OEMs and fleet operators are Dymaxa’s R&D partners in the project.
Building on a proven solution to unlock the next step in efficiency
Dymaxa offers the only commercially available universal side-skirt for semi-trailers, proven to reduce fuel consumption and emissions by 4–5%. The startup has already achieved early traction with customers including AB InBev, Essers, Kreiss, Heistercamp, and PNO, and leading European OEMs. Building on this foundation, Dymaxa is now developing its Trailer Underbody System as a next-generation, integrated underbody solution designed to deliver further efficiency gains to conventional and electric trucks.
