At Solutrans 2025, SOR Ibérica used Dymaxa side skirts on its showcased trailer configuration to demonstrate an aerodynamic setup for real European operations. The trailer on display was factory-equipped with Dymaxa skirts, and customers can now order new SOR trailers with the same configuration directly from the factory.

Numerous European fleets and OEMs have already started adopting Dymaxa skirts, with fuel tests consistently showing 4–5% savings, alongside extensive durability testing. Dymaxa skirts are already proven on 300+ trailers, and every Dymaxa skirt now comes with a 4-year warranty.
As regulation tightens, trailer OEMs and fleets are under growing pressure to deliver efficiency improvements that are measurable, repeatable, and practical at scale.
While many skirts shown by OEMs today are still primarily for display, the Dymaxa skirt presented at Solutrans is designed for daily use: built for loading bays, curbs, speed bumps, tight yards, and the operational reality of European trailer work.
SOR is adopting them as a practical step toward VECTO-driven efficiency. VECTO is the EU’s framework for estimating and reporting CO₂ emissions and fuel use for heavy-duty vehicles, and it raises the bar for measurable, repeatable improvements. This becomes even more important ahead of the EU’s 2030 target of a 10% CO₂ reduction from semi-trailers.
